throughout your pregnancy we provide:

  • guidance with the do's and don'ts of exercise
  • specific exercise prescription for women with high risk pregnancies, including incompetent cervix, placenta praevia, pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes 
  • minimise pain, including pelvic girdle (front pubic bone and back sacroiliac joints), lower, mid and upper back, ribs and neck
  • guidance on posture as the structure of your body changes
  • tailbone pain, also known as coccydynia
  • carpal tunnel syndrome (tingling and numbness in the fingers)
  • round ligament pain
  • abdominal separation management
  • lower limb, vulval and round ligament varicosities
  • treatment of numbness, pins and needles of the legs and/or feet and toes


in preparation for labour and delivery we provide:

  • pelvic floor assessment to check for pelvic muscle strength, activation and correct relaxation
  • education on all options for delivery modes, including risks associated with each to facilitate informed decision making
  • guidance with perineal massage and Epi-No as options to reduce risk of tears
  • cueing and coaching on second stage pushing techniques
  • guidance with safe and effective birthing positions
  • conservative pain management strategies including Obstetric TENs machine and breath techniques


in the early stages of postpartum recovery we provide:

  • individualised return to exercise program based on your goals
  • pelvic floor assessment, using the results to guide pelvic floor rehabilitation
  • diastasis recti assessment (aka DRAM or separated abs), using the results to guide core rehabilitation
  • management of any postpartum pelvic floor changes, including vaginal heaviness/pressure, constipation, faecal incontinence, difficulty with wind control, urinary incontinence (even leaking just a bit when you cough or sneeze) and painful sex
  • step-by-step guidance on postpartum cesarean section management including scar pain, lower abdominal tightness and muscle weakness
  • management of hand conditions including postpartum carpal tunnel syndrome and DeQuervain’s Tenosynovitis (aka "mother's thumb" or "mother's wrist")
  • postpartum neck, shoulder, hip and/or lower back pain management and postural guidance
